Established in 1998, Life Management Yoga Centre (LMYC) is the oldest yoga centre in Hong Kong affiliated with The Yoga Institute, the world’s oldest organized yoga centre, which has successfully trained over 150,000 teachers since 1953. Our teacher training certifications carry prestigious global accreditation, recognized by the Ministry of AYUSH, Yoga Alliance (RYT 200), and the Yoga Certification Board (YCB) Level 1.
The 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course at LMYC builds a strong foundation in authentic, traditional yoga for personal transformation. Designed by pioneering gurus Shri Yogendraji, Smt. Sita Devi Yogendra, Dr. Jayadeva Yogendra, and Dr. Hansaji J. Yogendra, this foundational program serves as your first step into deeper yoga studies.

This 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Program includes in-depth classroom interactions and experiential learning through activities, self-practice, and reflective exercises, all designed to deepen your understanding, enhance your teaching skills and self-growth.
Students are expected to attend all 20-day sessions, with up to 3 days of leave permitted in case of emergency.
Examination & certification
Upon successful completion of attendance and submission of the required assignments and presentations, the student will be eligible to appear for the examination within 60 days from the course end date (max. 3 attempts).
Students who pass the final exam successfully will receive a dual 200-Hour Basic Yoga Teacher Training Certificate from LMYC and The Yoga Institute. This professional qualification conforms to the YCB Level 1 standards and fully qualifies graduates to register globally with Yoga Alliance, USA as an RYT 200.

LMYC programmes are generally non-refundable. However, if a programme is cancelled by the centre or by a student with a valid reason, a programme credit or tuition refund will be considered. Please note that students are required to pay for all classes attended.

This comprehensive 500-hour Teacher Training Course is thoughtfully structured to deliver a balanced, immersive, and transformative learning experience. The curriculum blends rigorous classroom engagement, including expert-led lectures, guided practice, collaborative discussions, and hands-on learning with substantial experiential training. The program purposefully incorporates practical assignments, community outreach initiatives, field exposures, and structured practicums designed to foster real-world application, deep self-reflection, and integrated professional growth. To successfully graduate from the program, candidates must maintain a minimum attendance rate of 80% and demonstrate active, consistent engagement across all classroom sessions, presentations, and coursework.
